CanadaLooks great, but...
Purchased 2 months ago to match the coordinating halters. Looks beautiful. But... In the halter review, I mentioned the lovely leather and iffy hardware. Same goes for the lead. Nice leather, dime-store hardware. A touch smaller, a bit thinner. Today, I tripped, horse side-stepped and the chain separated. Without even much force, the weld on one of the links let go and the link opened up. You can see how little it took - the links aren't even stretched. Good thing he stood still and it turned out ok. It could have been at a show or somewhere else, with serious consequences. Bottom line - looks lovely. Great for pictures. Nice leather (condition it!). Hardware is cheap and unreliable.

CanadaLovely matching set, just make sure you maintain it
A really nice looking lead shank that I've been using for shows with the matching halter, but not the highest quality leather. Make sure you take good care of it and condition often to keep it looking nice; mine is only used for shows and has been well maintained, but there is a bit of cracking as it breaks in.
